I’m Raeah, a 24-year-old from Southern Ontario, whose only goals in life are to travel the world, attain financial freedom and live in the most simple and authentic way possible.

MY STORY

In 2018, I left home on a gap year in the middle of university after finally feeling defeated against a constant battle with one of my courses. I decided that I wanted to travel the world and figure out what I should do next with my life so after 3 years of studying I took a much-needed break.

During the first few months of freedom, I backpacked through the USA to Mexico and lived in France for a short period of time by staying with locals, couch surfing and doing work exchanges all over the country. 

During that time, I taught myself how to live off of less, save lots of money, travel for longer periods of time and even a few life skills that have made me some money and taken me a long way. 

Once I returned home from those few months of travelling, I knew that I wanted to do this as much as possible for the rest of my life!

I then decided to start a travel blog with the hopes of turning travel into a full-time career, so in June 2019 I took off for 3 months to South East Asia and have been building the Fearless Nomad brand ever since!

After returning home from SE Asia I quickly landed a dream job as a travel consultant for a huge travel company, my plans were to save up enough money so that I could go on a 1 year RTW trip the following year.

A few months later all of this came crashing down when I was laid off along with thousands of other employees due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

I decided to put my travels on hold for 2.5 years while I paid off all 15K in debt, saved over 25K and worked on my Etsy shop in the meantime.

I’m now back on the road creating content and living the Digital Nomad dream.

The Fearless Nomad brand was created with the intention of educating and inspiring people to travel the world no matter what their budget is.
